The BriSaR project presents a strong and representative partnership since it brings together different institutions from various points in Europe. They all represent at the end research, training and consulting organisations or end-users (prisons or prison administrations) and international corrections (sectoral) organisations, with relevant and extensive experience in the project’s subject.

From Romania, the project promotor, European Strategies Consulting (ESC) is a small research/development and consultancy company aiming to promote good practices in the area of corrections and social inclusion. Its main activities are organised around prison and probation areas. Up to now, the company provided research for the Confederation of European Probation and National Offender Management Service in UK (NOMS). ESC is led by Ioan Durnescu, professor at the University of Bucharest.
Fundación Universidad Loyola Andalucía is a Higher Institution belonging to the global network of universities of the Society of Jesus (338 around the world). Founded in 2010, it has inherited the teaching and research experience of its predecessor, ETEA Business School, with over 50 years of existence.
Ankara Probation Directorate is a unit managed by Turkish Ministry of Justice, General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses. The probation system was established on 2005 in Turkey with "Probation Services Law" no:5402, dated 03/07/2005; which was put into force on 01.01.2006. The major aim of the system is to prevent recidivism, to change the offending behaviour of the ex-offenders by teaching them legal and functional behaviours instead of offending behaviours. The major responsibilities and duties of this Directorate is to conduct individual rehabilitation sessions, group work and seminar sessions for the reintegration of the offenders who are either released from the prisons after an imprisonment period; who are sentenced directly to probation or who are drug addicts in need of treatment.
General-Directorate of Prison and Probation Services, successor by merger to the General Directorate of Probation Services and General Directorate of the Prison Service, has the mission "to develop policies for crime prevention, enforcement of sentences and measures and social reintegration and articulated and complementary management of juvenile justice system and prison systems, ensuring conditions consistent with human dignity and contributing to the defence of order and social peace”.
IPS Innovative Prison Systems (IPS) is an experienced “boutique” correction consulting specialised company that provides policy, procedures, programs and IT consulting and deployment for prison administrations in many countries all over the world. The company management team relies in more than a decade of expertise in policy advisory, strategic consulting, training, e-learning consultancy and development of information technologies for probation and correctional systems.
Aproximar is a non-profit NGO aiming to enhance organisations’ social and human capital as a strategy to build their capacity to take advantage of challenges and opportunities raised by the external conditions. In fulfilling its mission Aproximar organises and manages personal, social, professional and organizational paths by means of tailor-made and social innovation projects and good practices transference and dissemination.
