Results
In brief, the project will contribute to the exchange of information and expertise between different European countries as far as correctional programmes are concerned. Moreover, the project will develop the expertise and the capacity to deliver effective programmes to offenders sentenced to road offences, such as drunk driving, driving without license, dangerous driving, driving unregistered vehicle among others. One of the major risks that this group of offenders’ face is poverty. By contributing to reoffending rates reduction, it will also contribute to increase public safety, to reduce poverty and to promote social inclusion.

- an enhanced programme to work with offenders sentenced for road offences;
- at least 30 professionals and volunteers (10 in Romania, Portugal and Turkey) trained as trainers to deliver the programme;
- more public awareness regarding road safety.
